Communication and PR Plans for 6 Months

The Communication Committee members are Sydney Gooden, Ernie Lewin, Yvonne Hopwood, Norrine Tavares and as mandated, the President.

This is our 6 months plan.
1. To produce a Bi-Monthly news letter
a) Listing upcoming events within the organization
b) Listing events at the School and School Community
c) Current events in Jamaica and events as it relates to alumni, eg: marriage, birth, death, etc

2. Maintain the organization's web page.
a) Remove old and irrelevant postings
b) Keeping mailing list current
c) Post current and upcoming events
d) Post pertinent news items from Jamaica and the North America region

3. Membership campaign
a) To work with the Hospitality Committee and do personal, phone, and mail contact with members
b) To mobilize and spark the interest of Alumni who has yet to apply for membership

4. Work with all committees to ensure all events and activities are advertised and published as
deemed necessary.

5. Be the go between each committee and the relevant media house:- Television networks, newspaper publishers, radio stations, etc. Ensuring nationwide coverage and publicity of our events.
